So it's still early days - too early to tell people and yet lots and lots of pregnancy symptoms - lots of nausea and wondering how on earth I am going to manage with a newborn and a 2 year old...!

Anyone else in the November 2012 boat?

I'm due in November too. 6 weeks today! I live in Al Ain and have an appointment in 2 weeks at Oasis Hospital. After the appointment we will start to share with our close friends and family. I haven't had any symptoms yet besides very sore boobs and have been keeping up with my workout routine. Deb how many weeks are you? I'm looking into water births, but it seems the only hospital out here that does them does not accept my insurance. Are there any places in Dubai that does water birthing? This is my first pregnancy...so I'm a huge rookie and haven't been one to read much on pregnancy until I peed on the stick a week ago! lol Good luck with the job hunt...what kind of work are you looking to do?

It was a bit of a shock actually, totally unplanned and something of an 'immaculate conception'. The timing, for all my selfish reasons, is terrible as I've just been made redundant at work and am currently job-hunting (as if anyone is going to actually honour an offer once I tell them I'm expecting...?!) but for all the other reasons that will actually matter in the long run i.e. mainly sibling for DD it, it is great news. DD arrived 1st Nov and no. 2 is scheduled for 3rd Nov (inshallah) so seems I am a November baby machine! Still battling with the idea of finding myself unemployed and spending the summer here though... :(
