Antenatal classes - Cecile or Healthbay....how to decide?

Hey Ladies!

Hope everyone is well. Still trying to decide where to go for antenatal classes. Have narrowed it down to either Cecile or Healthbay Poly Clinic but cant decide which to go for.

I have friends who went with Cecile for both antenatal and post natal - they said she was amazing for post natal, but just "ok" for antenatal. And dont know of anyone personally who has used Healthbay. They are coming out at around the same price and both do session times that we could make it to. From what I can tell, the programmes seem fairly similar.

Any feedback on either? How did you decide who to go with?

I thought Cecile was very good for the ante natal classes and like you went with her as I thought I'd like a relationship with her if we needed her post natal. It's only since we brought the baby home and visitors from home made comments like "oh, are you doing such and such a thing this way!" and I could answer in a very knowing way, "well that's how the mid wife recommended we do it" that I realise how much we learned in the classes. I'm using that phrase a lot this week :-) It also made me more confident in doing things our way because as a first time mother, I would probably been swayed hearing, that's not how we did it.

Think iv decided just to go with Cecile, mainly because I know I want to use her for the postnatal stuff afterwards and am thinking I'll maybe find it all a bit easier and less stressful if I'm already familiar with her and have a bit of a relationship going with her before hand. Not sure if its the right decision, but hey, we'll see! Good luck with your decision pilatesmama!

i'm in exactly the same boat. i'm not sure where to go for antenatal classes. Initially i wanted to go with madge kruger but her days and times don't suit me. but everyone i spoke to about Cecile says the antenatal was like a lecture course not alot of practicality. so now i'm also considering health Bay Dr Dru as she has weekend options and my colleague recomended her. BUT I am STILL confused.
