I joke with fellow mommy friends about "mommy brain" (forgetting things, losing things, etc) but all joking aside will I ever get my brain back? I have recently had my third child and I am a mess! I am constantly losing my keys, forgetting things at the grocery store or not even being able to write an accurate grocery list, forgetting what I am talking about mid-sentence, today I lost my bank card and I am wondering will this ever stop?! I feel so frazzled all the time. I am constantly sweaty from loading children in and out of the car, my hair a mess, my clothes a mess! I want to go back to work one day but feel there is no way I could handle it. Could I even have a reasonable interview with potential employers? I used to be a professional young woman who was well spoken, well dressed and put together, now...? Help! What can I do? Is it sleep deprivation? Thinking of everyone else before myself? Or is it hormonal? A vitamin deficiency? Will I ever go back to my old self? Any advice or tips on what I can do?

I didnt reach to my old self yet.... But i hear from ladies whose kids are old enough have improved greatly. Personally as a mom to younger kids 4 & 6 i tdnd to keep them in top priority and other things move to back burner. I am doing my best not to stress about little things. Having a white board in the kitchen helps a lot. Just last night went to get 3 things (cheese, rambutan fruit nd orange) on the way remembered to add lettuce. At the counter felt that something is missing but couldnt remember thinking i came only for 3 things! Forgot the most important thing orange! Well...... It was unplanned quick stopover so i didnt have the list :) Looking forward to positive posts :)
