Hi ladies, I'm in my fourth month and my back feels awfully out of place after a long haul flight. (As well as my tailbone - normal?) Has anyone tried chiro, and if so, do you know of a good one here? My back thanks you in advance!

I second Dr Jose! She actually specializes in making sure your spine is aligned and in proper shape to support your growing baby inside. I went to her in my pregnancy since I have scoliosis and she helped immensely. Also, shes a lovely person :)

I suggest you see Jose, Manchester clinic in Jumeriah. She shows you how misaligned you are, And in one session will have you feeling straighter and taller. Great thing is she shows you how to maintain it. she does not need promoting, as she runs a very busy clinic. Just look up PIDDDS in a google search. It is a full body treatment, so any tensions anywhere else causing your poor posture will be rectified as well. There are also other therapists listed on the website.

Niaomi at Up and Running (Al Wasl rd near junction with Al Manara) treated me whilst pregnant. Cannot recommend highly enough. Also Laura, the physio there runs brilliant pre and post natal Pilates classes. Compared to the other Pilates classes I took I felt in very safe hands and it improved my sciatica no end - aaahh the glamours of pregnancy!
