DD takes minimal formula
I'm worried about my DD's formula intake and wonder if anyone has any advice they can give me. She'll be 7 months next week and I'm told she needs to be having at least 500ml of formula a day but it's a bit of a struggle to get this in to her. She just doesn't seem to like formula at all, never has done really. She's on Aptamil 1, and gets a mixture of the powder and ready-to-use cartons. She takes very little in the morning and during the day, but gets better as the day goes on. Her best feed is at the dreamfeed, so I daren't drop that just yet. The past few days she's only been drinking about 450ml. She won't take water either - will sip it and spit it out. She does this with formula as well so it's difficult to get an accurate measure of what she takes.
I'm getting so worried she's not getting enough formula. Do you think changing formula might help, or do formulas taste the same? Anyone else have a LO who doesn't like formula?
