I'm looking for something that looks like cycling shorts that will support my pelvis and upper thigh.

All I can find here is pregnancy panties, back supports and pantyhose for varicose veins. I have ordered this on line but can't wait for it to arrive. The discomfort is way too bad, limiting my daily basic activities. :(

Hi Hilsbils. Congrats on your pregnancy! This is my 3rd and most uncomfortable pregnancy of all. I'm 29 wks now but have had worsening pelvic pain. It started with low back pain/sacro iliac type pain from around 16 wks - I bought a very nice pregnancy support belt that holds everything together , I would recommend you get one. I got mine from the medical shop at American Hospital. Now my back pain is mostly ok, but now have varicose veins from thigh to my bits which really hurts! I didn't have it with my last 2 babies & it developed overnight. I can also recommend seeing an osteopath for your type of pain. Lauren at Osteopathic Health Centre is great. I'm sorry to say, that it mostly gets worse not better. Poor you starting so early with it! The thing I have ordered is for all those pains & got very good reviews. I'm just impatient to get it...

Hi KK, cant help Im afraid, but Im very interested in what lies ahead for me. I am only at 6 weeks and already feel pain in my pelvic/hip/groin joints. How far are you and is this for that sort of pain or simply to help with the extra load of a growing bump? I wonder if a pair of spanx or thigh control pants would do the same job for now?
