Weve been using Aptamil AR for LO's reflux but the formula is hardly what I would call thick. Can anyone advise where I can buy Carobel Instant from here in Dubai? I would like specifically this one and not a general thickener as I've read this is best.

Well I like it thin, because if its cold it gets so thick it blocks the teat area, and alot of it doesnt go through and gets wasted! But if you like it thick then you can make it cold :) Its really suited DD and her reflux has improved alot, we give it to her warm-hot so its thin But for reflux isnt the whole point of having AR milk so that its thick and stays down?

My DD takes Aptamil AR, I'v e found that if the water is warm-hot before I add the formula, the formula mixes well and its quite thin and milk like. If the water is room temperature-cold then the formula mixes to a thick consistency, my husband calls it a milkshake! We use #2 teats because of the thickness. So is it better to mix with room temperature?
