My Magimix is still going strong 11 years on, was about £250 (1500 AED) at the time but has been well used for chopping, grating, mixing, blending and whisking etc.

I got a Kenwood Multipro at some promotional price at Geant. Have also seen them selling cheap at the Union Coop, Safa Park upstairs. The guy at Jashanmal said that they pass on all their older stock to the Union Coop to sell at discounted prices.

I bought a Kenwood Multi Pro (model FP 691) from Carrefore in the summer. It was around 400/500 and is fantastic!! Google it to read reviews. HTH
