Our doctor has suggested that our daughter should take HA formula as she may have a little eczema. I am just in the process of phasing out breastfeeding and have introduced a few bottles of Aptamil Formula which she takes really well. Does anyone know where I can get a HA version in Dubai? I tried Spinneys, but they only had the regular one. Also, is it possible to buy it online for delivery anywhere?

Pretty sure I saw it at Waitrose Marina Mall the other day but their stock can be a bit unpredictable so if you don't live nearby don't take my word for it. However, I would recommend you do some research into HA formulas if you haven't done so already, the different types (there are different methods and extents of hydrolysis apparently) and what they should be used for. I have found that some doctors suggest using it a bit too easily when it may not be necessary or even advisable. I was given NAN HA for suspected reflux, which really upset DD and made matters worse, then switched to normal and we're fine now. Of course different baby different reason etc, but just look into it a bit more (again, if you haven't done so already-I couldn't tell from your post) before you change your little one's diet. Did the Dr prescribe any cream/wash/lifestyle changes for the eczema or just the milk change? There's some great advice from moms with babies who suffer from eczema on this forum that you might find helpful. Best of luck!

Hi - yeah I was looking through the supermarkets because the midwife/IBCLC at Loving care also recommended a HA formula. We found it at aswaqq in umm suqeim, geant at arabian ranches, and spinneys ocassionally stocks it also. Other brands have HA formula as well. Good luck on your shopping
