The advice I was given was to gradually transfer over to full fat cows milk by adding small amounts of cows milk to his formula. Wait a couple of days then add a bit more, gradually reduce the quantity of formula until he is used to the taste. If you simply switch he will reject it as the taste is so different. There is no point on continuing with formula after they are one, it is a complete waste of money as they are getting all the nutrients they need from food by now. Good luck.
There is definitely no need for formula after the age of 1. My lo is not a year yet, but I got to witness many of my friends baby's go through it. Many people say Aptamil is pretty good. I would try fresh milk before continuing with formula.
Hey guys need some serious help, he's currently on novolac AR as had silent relax at birth which was cured with AR milk alone so I continued it till now, but now he's turning one in a week and I'm in a fix abt what milk to transfer him to. Dunno if he will take up fresh milk or should I continue with formula and if formula then which one as so many in market. Any advice on what ur LOs reactions were on formula/fresh milk
