Message for Cca713 and Lincolnimp
Hi ladies,
Sorry to have the question directly directed at you ladies......i'm just following up from my last post with you ladies. Lincolnimp you mentioned that you had your baby in London and Cca713 you are going to have your baby there. I just want to find out did you have any problems with the hospital asking you to pay since you are technically 'resident' outside the uk?
i am currently here so got my 12 week scan and blood work done and then plan to return at 34 weeks. just wondering if it would raise any bells with the midwife at my GP surgery and the hospital later on?
I was thinking of letting my midwife know i will be away on long holiday but i wont be seeing her as they refuse to give me an appointment before 16 weeks, so not sure what to do.
I know a lot of people have mixed feelings about this topic but i would just like something helpful as ive paid taxes for yearsss, hardly used the nhs ever so if once i can use the nhs then i feel i do have the right to do so.
