Surgery to repair Hamstring Injury

I know it isn't too common, but wondering if anyone has torn their hamstring and had it surgically repaired? Most often surgery is not needed for hamstring injuries, unless it is completed separated from the bone (complete avulsion). Being that I never do things half-way, I am now a candidate for surgery.
I am seeking a second opinion before I have surgery - if anyone can recommend an Orthopedic Surgeon in Dubai that you have personal experience with, it would be appreciated.
