Hi ladies, at my 20 week scan, my baby was diagnosed with a very small VSD (Ventricular Septum Disorder). The doctor told me not to worry too much since the hole will close either before birth or within the first few weeks of being born given its size. I went to fetel medicine centre for this scan, in their report they recommended a growth scan between 28 and 32 weeks. But my doc says its not compulsory to do this scan. My husband and i are a little worried and are just wondering that if we do this scan, will we able to see the VSD status? whether the hole has been closed or not? Is this scan compulsory, have any of u ladies done this scan and how useful is this growth scan. I am currently 30 weeks today and just wondering if i should have the scan? Please help if any of you ladies have experienced anything similar?
