I have a number of shift dresses with long sleeves or over which I can wear a pashmina or cardigan. However, they do not cover my knees.

I was wondering if I wore cut-off leggings which cover the knee under these dresses, is that acceptable or it it preferred that dresses are worn long enough to cover the knee?

Many thanks

Maria

Many thanks Maria I wear shift dresses that reach my knee and my shoulders are exposed however during Ramadam or if i am off to a mall or government office etc i put a cardi or jacket on Just don't go too short and you will be fine although once you arrive here you will see all sorts of attire ( very short and long) ;-)

Many thanks Maria no need to cover your knees although anything too short is a no no, only cover up more if ramadan or in the shops etc... but common sense... you dont go around walking on the streets in short shorts etc.
