This is a nightmare salon - who botched my blonde soooooo bad and then refused to refund. i left with half orange - half long over bleached hair. Not professional!

Smileys, sorry to hear about the misleading advice from the salon. They may have just given you a keratin treatment, which seem popular on the group deal sites. I know people who have had that happen: it's advertised as keratin but when you get to the salon they tell you it's just a treatment not straightening procedure. It's nice when blow dried but there's not much difference after but hopefully your hair will be easier to blow dry, straighten when you do it yourself? The salon seems to have really given you the wrong advice and mislead you. Perhaps you should go back and ask for a refund over what you paid over the deal. You could also mention the bad publicity they are getting and say you'll contact the group selling the deal. I think it's tough for salons these days. There are so many and they are earning very little on these group deals so the temptation must be to sell extras once they get a client in the door. That's ok as long as you get what you pay for which was clearly not the case here.

Hi Rose717, I agree with your comments. I know keratin is just a treatment and not straightening process and thats what I basically went there for....a treatment for my super dry and frizzy hair which are a pain to manage during the summers. But salon ladies said BB is a much better and healthier option than keratin and will straighten my hair. I am upset about all these misleading and false claims made by the salon ladies to have more business....very unethical on their part I think! I had never done a keratin treatment before and I obviously made a mistake relying on these "so called professionals" for advice.

I really dont know why all ladies dont get "keratin treatments" are only for treatment purpose and not for straightening until there is Formaldehyde in it. Hair Botox, Brazilian Blow out etc all are Keratin treatments. If you wanna go for straight hair get rebounding or hair relaxing done. Am sorry to hear your experience but it only happens if you dont do research before going to salon.

I found an excellent hairdresser through a cobone deal. Juan @ JLT. He had mostly good reviews on EW so when a deal came up I got it and did not regret . He is just great.
