Hi ladies ... hope you can help... fairly new in Dubai , moved from UK and found out I am pregnant only 11 weeks though... but now major question that I cant find answers anywhere on internet is , well at least not up to date posts ... as my insurance wil not cover pregnancy and delivery , I do realise government hospital is the best , so have heard Latifa is the best , if someone has recent experince there would be great to know your experince as I am high risk pregnancy so if someone had complications or preterm delivery if you can share how do they treat you and all ... costs of all most important... also would you know which bank would be the best and if there is any bank that gives personal loans for delivery as this can be really pricey specially if complications and additional medical help, NICU and so.... would I need to register with hospital soon as well ? can you ask certain or just one dr to see each time visiting ? so many questions so few answers found .... well at least not specific one i am looking for... if you can help and advice would appreaciate greatly ....

Hi, congratulations!!!! I had one of my kids at Latifa in 2010. Overall it was a good experience but I understand that it is not nearly as cheap as it use to be. They do however offer excellent care to high risk pregnancies. Another option that could be worthwhile exploring is contacting ADNIC - they will cover someone with a pre-existing condition, which happens to include pregnancy. Prices are reasonable and perhaps on par with the costs at Latifa. It could be worthwhile getting a quote and then you could go private which is nicer.
