Making a small payment to a UK bank account

I have to put 25pounds into a UK bank account and my bank wants to charge me 100aed to do it, which seems a bit ridiculous, does anyone know a better way? TIA

Yes, using services like Wise, Revolut, or Payoneer is much cheaper for sending small amounts like £25 to a UK account — much better than paying 100 AED in bank fees. As an international student, I use the international bank for the fees of ACCA Global

Check with the owner of the UK account if they have PayPal set up with that account. That would be my preference, especially for a small amount. No transfer fees, just the exchange rate.

I was going to suggest transfering the money at one of the exchange places in the mall but they will also charge between 40 - 60 Dhs so might not be worth it. If you have a UK bank account it would be easier to transfer money from that account or write a cheque but I asusme you don't as you would have done this before transfering money from here. Hopefully someone else can suggest a cheaper way to transfer the money.
