Hi ladies,

Getting things organised for the birth of our little one, and just wondered if any of you could help with where to find the below items:

- Gripe water
- Lansinoh
- Baby calpol/ similar infant pain reliever you would recommend
- Nappy cream - is Metanium available here?
- Olive oil - do I just buy regular from the supermarket?

Anything else that might be needed?
Thanks!

i don't think metanium is available here - i S&S's from boots in the UK. i may still have an unopened one for you, will check and come back if I do; you're welcome to it. i buy the olive oil in the little bottle with the red cap from the pharmacies. i just can't get my head around basting the baby with bertolli's :)

Lansinoh goes out of stock quite often. The big pharmacy near Waitrose in Dubai Mall sometimes has it. There is another brand in a pale yellow tube that is exactly the same thing and easier to get. I have baby panadol on hand if needed, you can buy it in most pharmacies. I've never heard of Metanium but Sudacream is a good nappy rash cream. Olive oil from the supermarket is good. I personally prefer to use pure virgin coconut oil as it's closer to the skin's own sebum. Or avocado oil. Again both from the supermarket. Happy shopping, it's so exciting getting organised ?
