Naomi at Up and Running clinic on Al Wasl Road is excellent. She has treated me during and after both of my pregnancies. I'd also recommend Laura Barrett at HealthBay who is a physiotherapist and qualified Pilates instructor - between Naomi and prenatal Pilates with Laura I was well looked after HTH
Thanks so much Tmac -
I am looking for an osteopath specifically because my insurance will not cover chiropractors, as they classify them as "experimental" medicine :(
Thanks for the recommendation however, if I am not able to find what I am looking for, I might just got to Dr. Leader and pay out of pocket!
Would any ladies out there that have recommendations for osteopaths? TIA
I can recommend Dr Pamela Leader...but she is a chiropractor not osteopath...saw her through two of my pregnancies and took my babies to her. She is very knowledgeable and gentle and specializes in pregnant woman and children. Hope you feel better soon!!!

Hello mums and mums-to-be,
Can anyone recommend a good osteopath that specializes in ante-natal care? I did a search online and found a couple of leads, but hoping to hear about personal experience. I'm only about 5 months along, but back pain and rib pain have been getting bad and keeping me up at night for a couple of weeks now..and terrified of whats to come as I get bigger. I have slight scoliosis, so really looking for someone knowledgeable about intensive treatment during pregnancy.
Thanks in advance!
