I'm 5 months pregnant and this is my second time but it has been 5 years since my last pregnancy and I don't really remember were you supposed to take folic acid during the whole pregnancy or only first trimester.

what else are your supposed to take even if you don't yet have deficiency in iron or calcium or magnesium.

I'm following up with a doctor in al zahraa hospital but she recommended multi vitamin since beginning of pregnancy just because I was a little nauseated, along with folic acid and iron, and now she added vitamin D and cancelled the folic.

I had a lot of bad experiences in miss diagnosing in the middle so I always read before I take anything, the pregnancy week by week recommend not taking anything aside from folic but didn't mention stopping it or taking other supplements.

Please Help.

You should be taking a Pregnacare everyday from being pregnant to throughout breastfeeding. I took one as well when we were trying to conceive, my doctor tells me with this tablet you won't need anything else - it has everything in it you will need.

I took Pregnacare during all my pregnancies. As long as you aren't deficient in anything it is one tablet a day that covers everything. Most pharmacies stock it. https://www.vitabiotics.com/pregnacare/original
