Reviews on Aster Hospital Mankhool
Hi there,
I am debating between Aster hospital in Mankhool (where I am covered through my corporate insurance) or Al Zahra Hospital in Barsha.
I have heard nothing but great reviews about Zahra and have a hospital tour scheduled with a midwife on the 12th of October, so will have first hand experience about the hospital.
Aster on the other hand, I have visited only once, found most of the staff to be quite welcoming and also have a hospital tour scheduled for the 18th of October, but I would like to hear from your ladies.
Has anybody had a normal and natural delivery in Aster? Do the doctors genuinely support natural deliveries? Do the doctors support VBACs?
Do they allow for delayed cord clamping? Do they allow for movement during the first stage of labor? Are they sensitive about internal examinations, do they ask for permission?
I have experienced a traumatic first delivery at Zulekha hospital and would never recommend them to anybody, however, again it was an insurance issue. This time however, I have decided to do my research and make a truly informed decision even if it means paying for Al Zahra hospital.
