This gets my goat.
Over the weekend I heard someone trying my door. Not with a key, just the door handle a few times. I quickly went to see who it was only to find 4 men who said they must have got the wrong apartment and were coming to view apartment number ....
Why are some agents just so lazy? They advertise on Dubizzle with an old advert and answer a phone call. The pictures they usually put up are usually very old pictures too.
But leaving a door unlocked to an apartment and not even escorting prospective tenants to an apartment is just not on. Money for old rope as they say.
Forgive me if I offend any good proactive landlords on here, but you are in the minority.
Landlords here should pay the agent. Why should the tenant when they are the ones that do all the donkey work?
