Hi, I'm bringing my dog from Srilanka to uk probably to Manchester as it nearest for me. I am using an agent in Srilanka to arrange the shipping and will probably use Emirates to ship my dog as cargo. Now I'm wondering if Emirates customs clear their own animal cargo on arrival or do I have to find a clearing agent., if I need a clearing agent, can anyone suggest a good agent.
I got a quote from Heathrow and it was coming nearly £700 just to clear. Outrageous! But a lot of that is VAT. I'm not relocating but my dog is. I don't think that counts
