Anyone who can advise me please on how I can sponsor my baby to be with me in Dubai? I have never been married. My baby's father is out of the picture and his name is not on his birth certificate? Any experience, please let me know. Thank you very much!

Join Solo Mums UAE on facebook and ask there - there are several women who are in this situation and have been through the visa process. I know it can be done but isn't straightforward

Hi there, I'm also very new to the process of moving to Dubai. However from the reserach I have done, it's clear that if a woman wants to sponsor her child, she has to be earning a monthly salary which is more than AED 10,000. See this link https://www.government.ae/en/information-and-services/visa-and-emirates-id/sponsoring-residency-visa-by-expatriates You will need a NOC (a letter from your ex partner to state that he has no obligation about this move etc) Valid passport for you and your child child birth certificate employers letter to state you earn enough All these documents need to be attested and legalised - your embassy website will have full details I would reccommend that you also call UAE embassy in your country and get clear guidance from them about what you will need. You could also call the immigration agency in Dubai for guidnace - https://dnrd.ae/en/form/contact-us Lastly, your employer should be arranging your visa and they should be able to guide you. Hope that helps.
