Dear all,
We have been actively trying to conceive for approx 1 year without any success. Yesterday we have received the devastating news that my husband has a low sperm count which we somehow expected, but the reaction of our doctor has caught us off guard as he has scared us so much.
He mentioned that the only way to get pregnant is IUI (intrauterine insemination) or IVF (in vitro fertilization) and we should not loose a day as our chances are really low and decreasing daily. I must add that according to all the tests I have done I don't have any health issues and my husband is fairly healthy as well so we prefer to find a way to solve the health issue.
Has anyone gone through anything similar and could give advise on specialists to see in Dubai?
We have an appointment with Dr. Zimmermann at the Urology clinic at American hospital for follow up tests.
At this stage we are interested to conceive naturally and doctors who can help us to get to the core of the issue.
This is a very tough time for us and I would be grateful for any input.
