A successful turnout at the Emirates NBD Unity Run this year!
Lots of UAE residents awoke super early on Friday, November 16 at 8 am to take part in the 3rd edition of the Emirates NBD Unity Run.
The event was held to show support to the special communities in the UAE with the help of the UAE's leading bank, Emirates NBD.
Runners this year were also accompanied by the UAE Special Olympics athletes for the first time ever!
This was a great initiative to bring all the communities of the UAE together under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mansoor Bin Mohammed Al Maktoum.
The Unity Run's main purpose this year was to promote the social inclusion of people of determination in the UAE.
What better way to participate in a run during a wonderful morning in the UAE than to show solidarity for the Special Olympics athletes that will truly turn into a memorable experience.
And what a memorable experience it was - lots of fun, smiling faces, support and love in the air.
