The new UAE customs tax applies to all international deliveries.

Ordered something online recently? Starting from 2023, deliveries from outside of the country and shipped to the UAE may be subject to customs duty tax, including orders bought overseas from Amazon and other online shopping platforms.

The additional 5% customs tax applies to parcels that are worth more than AED 300 plus another 5% VAT.

Packages worth below AED 300 are exempt from paying any customs fees, but may still be subject to VAT charges.
