Dubai Centre For Special Needs Charity Shop

The main purpose of the shop is to raise funds for various projects to benefit the students of the Center. The shop sells second hand clothes and household goods to raise money for equipment and items required by the Center for the children with their special needs.

Money raised at the shop will be used for part of the payment fees for some Students at the Center who can not afford to pay the fee. The shop also provide annual allowances for different departments (Occupational therapy, Speech therapy, Art / Graft materials, Medical equipments and resource library) and pays equipment and items that otherwise the Center would have to do without.

In addition in helping to provide financial support for the Center, the Charity shop also provides work placements for the older students of the Center. This work placements provide valuable skills for the students which their can carry on in their lives, facilitating the student's eventual independence and integration into society.

DONATIONS

Owner of goods can open accounts and receive back 20 % of any money raised from his / her items, OR, as most our kind customers do, just donate things. In this case 100 % goes to the shop and ultimately for the children.

Shop is open:

• Daily (Saturday - Thursday): 09.00 am - 13.00 pm
• Evenings (Saturday - Thursdays): 16.00 pm - 20.00 pm
• Friday Market Sales (Second Friday of Month): 09.00 am - 13.00 pm
