Dr. Michael’s Dental Clinic Celebrates
the First Ever UAE Smile Month

Dr. Michael’s Dental Clinic is one with the International Dental Health Foundation and all other healthcare practitioners as we celebrate the very first UAE Smile Month this June.

Dentalhealth.org says that “Around a four in five (80 per cent) adults in the UAE suffer from preventable tooth decay and more than two and a half million admit they only brush their teeth once-a-day.”

The UAE Smile Month promotes three key messages for optimum oral health; (1) brush for two minutes twice a day with fluoridated toothpaste, (2) cut down on how often you eat sugary foods and drinks, and (3) visit the dentist regularly, as often as they recommend.

Promotional and educational materials including the crowd favorite, ‘Smile on a stick’ will be distributed all across the emirates to remind everyone to take good care of their oral health.

Smilemonth.ae invites everyone to participate and “Take pictures of yourself, your friends, family and colleagues with the Smileys and upload them to our Facebook or Twitter pages and let the world see what you’re getting up to in UAE Smile Month.”
