Always makes me laugh when they move days off for financial gain. Just goes to show that money rules everything at the end of the day.

You are probably right. I would also think that it gives the public sector a long weekend for a change. They are often short changed when it comes to public holidays so at least they get to have a long weekend. I know they would have had Tuesday off anyway but it is nicer when you have consecutive days off instead then at least you can go away if you wanted.
