Ours didn't, for some reason, and it was at least a couple of days before we figured out what was wrong.
Just checked, and ours are still functioning fine. Internet connection rubbish as usual, though.
Just a thought, have you paid your most recent bill? Our TV channels stopped working once (rapidly followed by our landline) and it was because we hadn't paid a du bill we hadn't received, but which had been due the day before.
