Hi, just updating to add, someone I know does know of the building and it's a large, very new property, so the finishings should be good. Apparently not all of the streets are finished paving yet so it seems pretty new! There is a billiard hall, coffee shops, supermarket, all below the buildings. There is an Emirati public school nearby, and with luck he might be able to see the beach from his apartment. Best wishes!

No problem, I just hope it's the correct one I'm thinking of. But that side of town is nice, there are a lot of Emiratis and large villas a bit closer to the beach. There is also a bowling alley (popular, especially in summer heat) and the dubai police headquarters building is close as well. There are a few other government buildings but I don't now what they are, and a post office as well. The other side of the highway turns into al nanda road which is very heavily congested and the dwellings range from very good to very bad, so I think he got a good spot. I hope he enjoys dubai!

I think I know of it, but I don't know it personally. If I am correct, it is on the west side of e11, near a big bank (I think Emirates NBD but don't quote me) and a Pars Iranian restaurant. I think it is a newer development but again, I'm not sure. Al Mamzar is a large beach, and park, and the area surrounding it is very nice in my opinion. The beach is really nice, a lot less crowded at times than other beaches (jumeirah, etc) and sea as far as your eyes can see. They have really been developing the area recently. So the beach should only be a few minutes away, there is a mall with a large supermarket, then immediate beach access. Further couple of roundabouts and it's the mamzar beach/park.

Hi all, My son will be moving to Dubai and he will be living in Abraj Al Mamzar. Does anyone know anything about this place? Is it new, or close to the beach? Any info would be nice. Thanks a lot.
