Was there ages ago, in 2004. It's massive place. More like a hospital to me. But rooms are clean. I remember the indoor garden was really nice. Walk to restaurant was far, but plenty of choice and nice food too. And cheap. I think there's a cinema also in the hotel? Guests mostly Arab family. Overall, I quite like it. Something different.

I stayed there in 2007 for an company meeting. Rooms were about 3 star standard a bit tired but clean restaurant was more cafeteria than hotel but I remember the lunch being ok. Overall it was fine, we stayed 4 nights and had all our meetings there. There is a bar there and the other residents were all very friendly The place is huge. One of my colleagues had a room at the opposite side of the restaurant and it took her about 20 minutes to walk to breakfast! Don't quote me on it but I think the general facilities (don't know about rooms) have had a refurb recently as was there last year during the AD Food Festival where quite a few guest chef seminars/demos was held and it was undergoing some work. Maybe call them and ask if they have a website or can email you some photos of their rooms.
