we are booked for sunset at the burj khalifa tonight (at the top) with visitors and our 8 week old ds. can anyone give me feedback about taking babies in the lift - or what the experience is like w a baby.

Also dont forget you cant take your pram/buggy up there...so remember your baby sling if you have one... Is your baby on bottles? perhaps you could feed your lo whilst in the lift ...so it will comfort him/her and the swallowing will help the ears.

Well biologically speaking a child so young is not going to be able to equalise the pressure in their ears - the lift going that high will definitely increase pressure causing the ears to 'pop'. So you'll probably get some crying, which would naturally help with that anyway.
