What about Zara Home in Mall of the Emirates or for a cheaper option I saw some "quilts" at dragon mart but it might be for double/ king size only.

You can buy the pieces and maybe get them made (or take them to Satwa) from the sowing shop in the mall on Jumeriah Beach Road.... I forget the name now, the one with cafe ceramique!!! Craftland is the store. Don't know if they'll make it for you though, but worth asking.

But for single beds right???? No, I saw them in the main PB shop (not PBK) - not sure what size exactly but it wasn't a single bed they were displayed on.

Does anyone know somebody who makes beadspreads and patchwork quilts here in Dubai. Failing that does anyone know where I can buy a really lovely childs bed spread but for a double bed? Thank you so much.
