my father is bermudian and i have family that live there. I was very little when i lived there so i dont remember much but i do try to go back every year.
was just wondering if you had any info on life as an expat there. DH is considering a job there, interviewing at the moment. Are there any websites similar to this where i can find some information. It seems a closed book in terms of information sources. Just wondering does that say anything about the place in itself. Also, would you say its more expensive there than here in Dubai, in terms of food, going out, etc...I know rents are almost double.

yes in terms of expensive it is more expensive but also cost of living meets the salaries where here in dubai it doesnt. also you are only allowed to have 1 car per family as the speed limit is only 40!
everyone goes on mo peds the island is tiny! community wise im sure you will meet a bunch of nice people. bermudians are very friendly.
I have been there on holiday a few times and yes it is very expensive. I would say food is on a par or more expensive than here. It is also fairly limited in terms of what there is to do. Apart from the stunnningly beautiful beaches, golf and tennis. There is not much more. Some of the more established shops have either closed or downsized. Personally I would say great for a holiday but I don't think I could live there. Other people go and love it. Horses for courses I suppose
