OH passed out last night (half tipsy but half got up too fast and wrong blood pressure, happens a lot) and has cut his head. I patched it up last night but i think it needs stitches as big and deep. Where can i take him to have it looked at that is close to the marina?

There is Emirates Hospital in Dubai Marina, its down the same road as the Habtoor Grand Hotel, opposite it. I went a few weeks ago as this flu bug wouldnt shift. They have all kinds of doctors there and you can just walk in. Its very posh! The doctor I saw had little sympathy for me as I only had flu!!! however, the nurses were so lovely and so were the reception staff.

Great thank you. I think either the glue they have or stitches might hold it together. To be honest I don't have much sympathy for him but it was rather scary seeing him passed out cold with a nasty gash! I was as helpful as a chocolate teapot as I went in to shock at the sight of it! Will take him asap. Thank you

Not a hospital but the Ibn Batuta medical center is also a few minutes away. Its near the Fitness First on the ground floor. Another one is the Cedars Jebel Ali hospital - about 10 min drive near JAF gate 3 (if i remember correctly). <em>edited by Icedqueen on 05/02/2011</em>
