I've been having Gelish done at Tips N Toes for a while and I love it. It lasts at least a week, on average 10 days of looking perfect, and my best so far has been 3 weeks! Gelish costs around 110 dhs depending on whether or not you have french tips painted on. I then deicded to try Bio Sculpture because I'd heard so much about it and I was going on holiday so I thought I'd go for something a little hardier than Gelish. I had it done at NBar and I loved it. It cost 295 dhs for French tips, 245 for regular. The technician was very professional. It did last the last three weeks I was on holiday but like Gelish, you start to see cracks in the colour under the surface (this only happens with French and very light colours) and becuase it starts to grow out you have to have it redone. However, I did paint nailpolish over them several times and it looked great. Then I went to NStyle to have them redone. I got a huge shock when they charged me an additional 60dhs for 'removal' of my old ones. This was completely unnecessary as these are not acrylics. The removal process was exactly the same as Gelish - soaking them in nail polish remover for a few minutes then scraping off with an orange stick- but Tips N Toes have NEVER charged me for this when I'm having a nother set put on!!!!!!! I also noticed that NStyle did not apply all the same layers of gel, finisher and strengethener etc as NBar AND within THREE days one of my biosculpture nails broke off and I had to file it down. This has never happened with Gelish. So my advice is, if you're going for Bio Sculpture, go to NBar at least for the first time, then you can compare when other places 'cheat'. As for me, it's not significantly hardier than Gelish, so I'm sticking to Gelish unless I go on holiday in which case I'll only go to NBar for bio sculpture!
