For the last week or so, my BB has starting rebooting itself. it happens maybe 5 or 6 times a day, and can be at any time of the day, sometimes when I am on the phone or writing an email or Sms. It's driving me insane. I have had it for 1 year, and I have never had that problem. anyone else having this issue ? Has there been a crooked update that has screwed up the software ? any solution ?

You will probably find the warranty is up, so the phone has decided you need a new one... or maybe it is a secret program planted by your telephony provider to ensure continued revenue!! The conspiracy theories abound!

I've never had a blackberry last more than 18 months before it starts playing up in one form or another (last one the roller ball packed up - told I could have it fixed but opted for a new one). The one before that had the reboot problem, no idea what the problem was, opted for a new one. I'm still a bl**dy slave to the damn things tho!! Sorry I couldnt help any further .... my advice, go treat yourself to a new one ;-) x
