Hi everyone, I am doing some research for a project and looking to find out where moms enjoy going with their kids for a bite to eat and something to drink, or as a group or as a family outing with dad
please can you let me know where you like to go and why, ie Polo club : good value, kids can watch the horses etc

really appreciate!![/quote]

Organic Cafe at Dubai Mall. I give the kids mainly organic food at home so like also being able to give them organic when eating out. Nice to know that the quality of the meat etc is good. Their weekend brunch starts at 11am so it's good if they are hungry early. Also a good chance for me to try them on new dishes which I can then try to replicate at home if they like. There is small play area off to one side with a few toys in it which is nice for little ones. I also like Arabian Ranches Golf Club and go there most weeks. There are always lots of kids playing around the steps and fountain in the early evening - might not be a good thing if you are child free but good for me! Beachcombers is good too and the kids love the band but the kids room is pretty dire so I tend to keep them out of it. It's a dark little room next to the entrance with a few beanbags, a tv and a broken video game machine. It seems kind of pointless going out for a 'family' brunch if they are going to sit in a dingy room watching tv.

La verandah at jbh great location on the beach, good pizzas, relaxed but good service. P f changes our kids ask to go there good kids menu excellent service kids get activity sheet with crayon packs they love it there Bubbalicious brunch - amazing for adults and kids. Great kids zone there and petting zoo Arabian ranches golf club lovely setting on the terrace overlooking the golf course. Super food consistently good. Do lots of family events too kids are always welcome Rivington grill superb location for a view of the fountains we go for a special treat early booking and the kids love it and the staff have always been very good with the kids (but they are on best behaviour promise!) Spice island brunch is wonderful. Kids have own area and can decorate cakes to take home, watch a movie, have their face painted...etc....etc

The Lakes Club- Because a lot of families go there, its quite child friendly, there's a playground and they put on a movie night and other things that the kids love. edited by AdviceSeeker on 18/03/2011

Noodle House at Souk Madinat Jumeirah. Good food and you can sit out at this time of the year. Convenient ice-cream vendor just out the front door too for dessert.

Lattitudes for the Saturday brunch - great childrens room and entertainment. The Movenpick because the attendants will actually walk the children back to your table if they want you, so you can relax adn not worry about them wandering off. Otherwise - Yo `Sushi - the kids LOVE the train, so much they'll even eat Sushi! Lastly Carluccios. They are quick to serve the kids with an appealing (to them ) menu, have crayons etc at the ready, don't mind the kids running from the table to the fountains and are always quick with the bill at the end, so we can make our escape.

I enjoy bamboo lagoon at JW Marriot, live music, kids play area which is attended and if you let the helpers know your table and there is a problem they will bring LO back. My LO loves to get on stage and have a dance with the band and shazman has also been known to make an appearance sorry should read spectacle after a glass on wine lol.
