Can anyone advise if there is such a thing in Dubai as childminders (like UK registered childminders) for working mums, for babies or school pick ups etc?

it was actually something that I thought of doing, I was looking to go back to work but was so worried about childcare / holidays / sickness etc, that wondered if other mums would want this sort of UK service (i.e trained for safety, healthcare, development) at a regular cost not a UK cost !! x

There was a poster on here who was a qualified nanny who provided this service, not sure if still here, Username of Trees. They are out there, just need to find them. ... but they aren't actually registered with a government body here and regulated or inspected, like in the UK. However, anyone with some kind of childcare qualification and a sense of responsibility is better than nothing! CC17 - most people here get their "maid/nanny" to do it if they can't be there themselves.
