We used to live in Dubai 5 years ago with my dog (mini dashchund). Now we are living in Muscat,Oman. there is no cremation services for pets in Oman. .My little dog's health has been really poor and I might just have to let her go. Can someone out there advise of where/which vet I can go?

I am thinking of driving with her to Dubai (hoping Customs do not see her in her bag). Can anyone provide any input to this dilemma

Thank you.

I recently had to help my darling toy poodle across the rainbow bridge after many months of kidney failure. Dr Petar at the Al Qurum Vet - Azaiba Branch only - in Muscat was fabulous. I was also taking her back and forth in her bag and seeing Dr Sigrun at Blue Oasis Vets in the Greens (I commute these days). I recommend both vets highly - kind and loving but also won't let any animal suffer.

So sorry, losing a pet is gut wrenching under any circumstances. When we had to say goodbye to our pup our vet was amazing - so very kind and compassionate. They also organized the cremation and sorted out a private cremation for us so we could take his ashes with when we leave Dubai. Highly recommend all the vets at Vienna Vet on Al Thanya St (just near the Burj Al Arab) - and in particular Dr Michaela.
