Dilemma kids playing football in the street
so what would you do?
We live on a quietish street traffic wise in a block and at the far end every night the kids put up 2 full size football goal posts and play football in the street. basically they close the street off from one end. It's not a cul de sac or anything.
There are cars parked at the sides of the street and they keep hitting the cars with the ball, they scream and shout and if a car comes they pull the goal posts out of the way.
One of them is going to be hit by a car very soon. You can't see them till you pull round the corner and people drive like idiots around here so there's been a lot of squealing tyres because of this.
would you call the police? speak to the kids? speak to the parents? or just wait for the worst to happen?
I also feel it brings the tone of the neighbourhood down but that's probably just me being a grump.
