We bought some tickets last year from dubizzle. The tickets were for both the men's and women's semifinals. All tickets were bought a day or two before the matches and all tickets were bought at or below the original prices (the women's was below cost and the men's was at cost, oh well, life isn't fair).
There's no need to fall prey to speculators. Every year plenty of people have to cancel their plans to attend the match for legitimate reasons, so I wouldn't lose hope.
I've had a look on dubizzle and there are already some for sale at quite a proft I must add!
Hi carymama - the seating is on first come, first served basis
gracesandie - there are a few still left online -www.itp.net/tickets. Its for the first few days of the womans, but sometimes the earlier matches are better to watch as the semis and finals are sometimes a whitewash.

They have replied -- NO MORE TICKETS. I am very devastated because my father will surely, surely be heartbroken!!
I sent the email very early today morning. Hate the lack of transparency. What time should've I sent the email, at 12:01 AM? (as soon as the date changed to 10th Jan) So so so upset.
Congrats to the ladies who got their tickets!
Anyway, I sent an email to book the Prime A tickets this morning as they are not sold online or at the box office but as of now, I have not received a reply/confirmation yet. So frustrated!
If you seriously want tickets for the tennis you should ensure you are online and ready before 10 am tomorrow, Monday when they go onsale online. They usually go very very fast, in about 10 mins for the gents semis, quarters and finals. Do not muck around as you will be left dissapointed. I am sure you can only buy 4 tickets at once so do not plan to order more. Seating has always been first come first served but it is fabulous venue with good all round views wherever you sit with a wonderful atmosphere. If you are going for several days I would suggest you try for the popular days first then refresh your page and go for the less busy days after, ie if you are wanting semi tickets and first day tickets, get your semi ones first as they will dissapear in seconds! Happy online shopping tomorrow but please leave some tickets for me!
Does anyone know what time the play will start? I have a feeling it is mid to late afternoon and through the evening but wondered if anyone knew for sure?
Many thanks

Thanks so much for the replies! The Dubai Tennis Championships website has updated the ticket info (http://www.dubaidutyfreetennischampionships.com/Tickets/Tickets.aspx) saying,
"Prime A seats can only be booked through [email protected] from 10th January"
I still tried to send an email but alas it bounced back. So my question is, after reading that ticket info, Prime A tickets are NOT sold at the grandstand on January 10th? Anyone with previous experience?
TIA
