Walk it's not far - we check in at terminal 3 for Emirates flights, but the gate is always in Terminal 1 - most people don't even realise they've changed terminals. Dally that is what I was thinking. Often happens you check in for Emirates flight and it leaves from terminal 1, it is not far. I believe where the steps/escalators are is the spot where the 2 meet.

Walk? It's only a few hundred meters, it's all the same building. Would not advise walking!! Terminal 1 and 3 are far from each other...take the metro. there is also the shuttle, 10 min by it. <em>edited by simoralu44 on 31/01/2011</em>

You could take the metro. There is a station at both terminals and they are very user friendly.
