Hi All - I have a slightly weird question.................I have these spots / marks on my bum / upper thigh where obviously the hairs have rubbed. I have had laser done a few years ago, but for some reason these marks are still there. Does anyone know what I can do about them in addition to exfoliation? Are there any topical creams that might help lighten them? Any help is appreciated. TIA

I have no experience of this I'm afraid, but this makes interesting reading: https://www.realself.com/question/burned-lase-hair-removal-and-dark-spothow-rid-fast Not sure if this helps but offers a possible explanation x

Thanks Beebers! Think I will go see a dermatologist. @ sheikhandbake - this has nothing to do with anyone else, this is purely about me and something personal to me

While it may be true that people are far more willing to overlook flaws of ours than we are, ourselves...it doesn't mean that OP can't get something taken care of that she clearly doesn't like?? OP, I don't know if you mean laser hair removal, but one thing I was warned about regarding laser is that certain kinds (alexandrite?) can affect pigmentation and sometimes permanently. Could be that, could be something else. See a good dermatologist. I really wouldn't mess with any over the counter lighteners or products until you know what exactly you're dealing with.

Don't you believe that if someone is looking that closely, he or she might be willing to overlook a few spots?
