Can any of you ladies explain......
For those of you who purchased the ticket
from Manila to KL (one way) and then another,
KL/Doha/DXB....if the girl is coming
on a visit visa how does she explain to
the authorities why she only has a one way ticket
Manila/KL if she is coming to DXB & only
has a return ticket to KL,,,,I must be missing something.

I'd be very cautious of doing anything dishonest because the rules there are constantly changing. I was recently told that I could bring a Philipino over here on a visit visa if I sent her $1000 US in cash to prove she had the money or they would not let her leave.
I actually did not do that, though. But I did try to bring her over with just an employment visa and she was not allowed on the plane to Dubai from Manila.
It is best to send the maid her contract and visa and ask her to go to the POEA in Manila to get her contract approved. Otherwise you will find yourself wasting a lot of money like I did.

As far as I know, the immigration in KL will not ask other south east asian countries citizens to show their return ticket to their home countries. When she check in at Manila airport, only the ticket counter will check her ticket, not the immigration (boarding pass) as they don't need visa to enter KL. Upon arrival in KLIA, they will check in again for their departure to Dubai. And the Malaysian immigration would not be asking for her purpose to visit Dubai. My boss' did ask for me to give a KL address just in case but his maid never have to provide the information.
