Foster home needed

My foster home just fell through this evening.

Unfortunately this is now really urgent. Samson and Delilah are in our empty house amongst the boxes - we hand the keys back this weekend.

Is there no one to foster some beautiful fluffy house cats for a couple of months? Or, I guess permanently, I can't bear to think of putting them down.

Thanks SalsB - I have been in touch with a couple of folks this morning, and I am sure we will be able to work something out for Samson and Delilah. Thanks again everyone - will post with the good news when we get it all sorted out! Next thing is to find hubby a new job! I am sure 2011 is going to be a good year.... :)

I work as a volunteer for FF I know we are full to capacity at the moment, but will try and have a word, how old are the cats, I am so tempted as I also have 2 persians, one kitten siamese and a lovely foster cat called Jake at the moment. If I can get Jake rehomed I would then consider fostering for the OP. I will be taking Jake to the open day on 22nd Jan, hoping he will have a new forever home as he is so gorgeous.

Guys, I am overwhelmed, thank you for your support. I couldn't bear to reward such lovely pets with a one way trip to the vet. I will be in touch with Bubble and Squeak today, and thank you Tiramisu also - will let you know how it works out. We don't expect to need help for too long, if I wasn't so pregnant it wouldn't be an issue, but I have to go back to aussie soon, otherwise I will be too large to fly!

Heyjude- sorry to hear of your foster home falling through last minute. I had left my contacts on the pet forum thread but had not heard from you. Hope that things work out with bubblesqueak- we'd also not have been able to offer a permanent home.

Heyjude ------ I'm happy to look after them as long as it IS on a temporary basis. Will you be sending for them from Oz if you don't come back to Dubai? edited by Bubblesqueak on 06/01/2011

Jude, has FF been able to help at all? There must be someone out there that might want a couple of persians for a couple of months? I am sure Jude will be paying for food /litter etc and they will go with their suitcases full of bed, toys, brushes, vet info..... edited by SueB on 06/01/2011
