Apologies if the request was worded poorly.
There was never any intention of going behind anyone's back and alerting the landlord to someone leaving. The hope was that my details would be passed along to a current tenant who was leaving, and, with their blessing, having our name mentioned to Nakheel that we wished to move in after them.
Not knowing anyone in GVV this was a last ditch attempt as Nakheel have pretty much bluntly admitted this is the only way to get in.

I don t think its quite right to ask ladies to give you a "name " and for you to go to Nakheel surely it would be better for you to contact the person and then go to Nakheel
I think if someone is leaving and they contact you then fine but to ask if anyone knows of someone does nt seem quite right
To go to the landlord and say someone is leaving def does not seem the way to do it... and yes I do live there:)

Just a quick, hopeful shout out to see if anyone is planning on moving out of, or knows anyone moving out of, the Garden View Villas (either 3- or 4-bed) in the next couple of months.
Having been to Nakheel many times it is clear that regardless of how many years you have been on the "waiting list" the only way to get in is to bring the name to them of someone leaving and they will reserve the villa for you.
