Kittykat, do it :) My friend did and its the best thing she ever did. she lost the weight slowly and eats very differently now. its good because its reversable as well as can be altered without surgery. do you know how it works? She did with Dr. Roger at Emirates Hospital-apparently he is the best. She says it was worth every penny. Saved her from being obese and diabetic-which everyone in her family is. Her aunts, uncles, cousins, etc..

Hi all, After years of struggling with my weight and having spent the last year in a get fit regime and still seeing little result I am now debating getting a gastric band fitted. I have done every diet under eh sun and have yoyoed my entire life and to be honest Im just sick of it, sick of being unhappy when I look in the mirror and sick of the war against being fat. SO has anyone had one out here and can recommend where to have it done? Or any positive/negative feedback? Thanks Why don t you try the hypnotherapy gastric band thats now all the rage ??? Kittycat

Have you consulted professionals regarding your weight/diet issue? If not, it would be better to do that before choosing gastric band surgery. <em>edited by Saltire on 19/03/2011</em>
